.01 About

Infinitive Capital Is A Thesis-Driven Investment Firm

  • Friendly and Flexible Capital: We bring energized partnership and friendly capital for entrepreneurs who seek growth capital and/or liquidity while preserving their legacy. We strive to maintain continuity for their customers, employees and community.
  • Own Capital: We are former private equity investors and entrepreneurs who are investing our own capital along with other long-term capital sources and are not constrained by a set holding period
  • We are Active, not Passive Investors. We are operationally focused and seek to leverage our “swiss-knife” of best practices that we’ve learned from companies that we’ve invested into or run. We will be involved in setting the strategic direction, acquiring companies, raising capital, and be fully “hands-on”
  • We Invest One Business At a Time: We don’t need to build a large “portfolio” – we are content to invest in one business at a time or for a period of time. We would rather have one high conviction partnership and give that our operational best rather than diversity across three and “hope” for success in one
  • Differentiated DNA: Our intent is to drive scale with constructive impatience, leveraging the strength of our sector knowledge, relevant network connections, and scaling tools that we’ve seen work while growing companies to drive superior value creation for our partners

Transactions are typically a significant milestone in a business owner’s lifetime. We understand that because we come from family businesses ourselves. Having worked across traditional banking and private equity roles, we bring “blue chip” experience coupled with humility and empathy for what it takes to build a business

We strive to be values-driven. What does that mean? Simple - we do what we say and say what we will do. We thrive on low-ego, high impact mentalities, and want to drive a seamless experience during and after the transaction. We expect the same from you.

We want to have an upfront, shared understanding of desired outcomes. We painstakingly define that with our partners at the beginning of our partnership to avoid subsequent conflict and construct governance that is synchronous with those goals.

We truly care about legacy. We inherently believe that a businesses’ brand, culture, and key employees need to be protected for it to be enduringly sustainable. We’d like to be seen as stewards of legacy. Of course, that doesn’t imply we won’t change things. It's almost certain we will, but with an endeavor to do so collaboratively with owners, managers, employees, and customers.

The bottom line is that we seek to develop open and constructive partnerships that foster long-term value creation
